
On Tuesday, October 26, 2021, the Global Scholars Foundation will host its Second Annual Golf Tournament at the prestigious Country Club at Woodmore, located in Mitchellville, MD. Proceeds from this golf tournament will support the Global Scholar Foundation’s work to prepare students for post-secondary education and to raise their global competency through cultural immersion opportunities. Since 2006, GSF has touched the lives of more than 200 students through Washington, D.C., particularly in Wards 7 and 8.
One-of-a-Kind Program
Since 2006, the Global Scholars Foundation (GSF) has worked to cultivate a community of globally competent DC public and public charter school students. GSF’s engages DC youth through college readiness, financial literacy, and cultural and language immersion programs.

Language & Culture
GSF immerses its Fellows in different cultures to provide a full understanding and appreciation for a foreign country’s language, religion, education, government, mores, and finances.
College Readiness
The College Readiness component of GSF provides Fellows with first-hand information about every aspect of college life by focusing on six key areas.
Financial Literacy
GSF Fellows receive financial literacy training in all areas of finance including savings, debt, budgeting, and investing.

THE GLOBAL SCHOLARS FOUNDATION CONTINUES TO CLOSELY MONITOR REGIONAL UPDATES REGARDING COVID-19 AND WILL MAKE ADJUSTMENTS TO ENSURE THE SAFETY OF GSF STAFF, YOUTH PARTICIPANTS AND FAMILIES ON AN AS NEEDED BASIS. GSF WILL CONTINUE TO SERVE YOUTH PARTICIANTS AND FAMILIES WITHOUT CONTRIBUTING TO THE SPREAD OF THE PANDEMIC.
